Winning Letters

Alt text: Dear Geisel, You are a breath of fresh air. You were there for the countless nights I spent in your warm wings. You've always been a place I could count on to better myself: being productive, getting a small workout in on the treadmill, or by being alone with my thoughts. There has never been a place that has made me feel comfortable in making mistakes. Through the T+LC, I have seen my grades progress with the help of tutors and learning that failing is okay. You offer so many beautiful spaces to enjoy your beauty: on the 2nd floor looking through the windows, on top of the library, or on the 8th floor overlooking Snake Path. You've seen me at my lowest and I've been with you at your highest (floor). We are meant to be Geisel. Cheers to two more years together, te amo ♥ Sincerely, Anonymous
Alt text: Dear Geisel Library, I’ve been meaning to bring this up at some point with you, and I feel like now is the time. Ever since midterm season started, I’ve been more and more stressed. It’s time to come clean, I'm seeing someone else. I've been taking a right on Library Walk and spending time at Sally T. WongAvery Library. I’m sorry, but it has gotten to the point where I need more space. You are great, it's just I can't handle the hot air anymore when I walk in. You need better ventilation. I mean you look great from the front, and your new entry way is really nice, but it's the same everywhere else. I thought you were going to work on yourself for me. I guess not. Anyways, I really hope you find a way to vacuum your carpets regularly and maybe invest in comfier chairs. I'm choosing to put myself first, and so far it's been really great with Sally, her building is nice and clean throughout, no weird food smells, and the cooler air and quiet study is very peaceful. Again, I wish we could go change things, but maybe that requires more time apart before I reconsider. With deep regrets, Fourth Year UCSD Undergraduate

We received over 100 letters during this annual event. Please enjoy reading the heartfelt letters sent in by library users. Due to the sheer volume of letters, we could not highlight them all.

Love Letters

I love how accessible you are to so many people on campus. Though I wish you wouldn't be as busy sometimes. I understand that a lot of people enjoy your environment, like myself. Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Anonymous

This is my third year at UCSD and Geisel has definitely changed so much since the first time I came in. I really love the new sections of the second floor. It looks great and really open to study. I also really love the architecture style of Geisel. As a campus ambassador, learning all the fun facts about Geisel and telling them to tour groups are always fun to do. I really love doing puzzles as well, the puzzle relax sections are my favorite spot. Sincerely, Anonymous

Love the services at the library, TL+C has been so helpful. Sincerely, Anonymous

This love letter is to the 4th floor of Geisel. There’s always a spot for me to sit at and I love the view. My favorite floor to study at ♥. Sincerely, Anonymous

This seems silly but I really love all the different seating options in Geisel! I especially like the unique chairs that allow you to sit in a way besides normally. As someone who always likes sitting with my feet up, or sideways, or something like that, it’s great to have chairs that let me sit comfortably. I’m especially a big fan of the blue chairs with the small table attached that also have outlets on the 1st floor of Geisel West. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Library, I absolutely love how comfy your chairs are and I enjoy all the services you have to offer, which I hope to use more of during for this quarter and spring quarter! Thank you for making me focus extra hard in my work. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love your comfy chairs babe and also the spacious tables for studying and talking with friends. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, I love the heating inside the library, especially when it’s really cold outside in the mornings! It’s a place where I can comfortably study without freezing c: Sincerely, Anonymous

I absolutely love that whenever I come it’s so clean and beautiful that I always feel like studying. It is such an inspiring place that always makes me determined to finish my task. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the big blue chairs with outlets and built in desk. They’re fantastic. Also the computers are good. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the variety of seating at the library. I feel like I can have any type of setting I need to study. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the whiteboards around, especially the whiteboard tables, since I like doing physics problems on whiteboards because they are easy to erase. I also like the amount of outlets and charging stations around, whether it be the little stands or the outlets in the ground. Sincerely, Anonymous

All of the librarians I’ve encountered have been so nice and helpful. They all seem to really enjoy their job and want to genuinely help students. It makes the library a much more comfortable place to be! Sincerely, Anonymous

I absolutely love Classroom 1 and all of the new renovations done to the library! Sincerely, Anonymous

I like the cleanliness of the new spaces and how open and modern they are! I like that there’s an accessible, non-gender bathroom. I like that they’re equipped with TVs and ergonomic chairs Sincerely, Anonymous

I love how the library is open at all hours for students to get work done. I also love the variety of different seating options available for students to utilize! Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Library, I love your bustling atmosphere throughout the day and your tranquil one at night. I also love Audrey's Café and their yuzu peach green tea. Sincerely, Anonymous

Hi I love your de-stress coloring sheets :) Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the new addition to 2E. The minimalism design helps with studying. Although I wish there was more natural light, or plants would be nice too. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Library, You’re the one place on campus that validates my experience. There’s no pressure, I can just be me. I can eat or drink coffee while I read or take a meeting. You have so many resources which I’ve yet to explore. Thank you for always being open. Thank you for always having seating. Thank you for having laptops when mine stopped working. Look forward to continuing our relationship! Sincerely, Anonymous

I love how the library is making the efforts to provide resources and services that include the borrowing devices/technological items and academic services such as the AAH, SI, and wonderful welcoming staffs/students willing to help. It really makes me feel that I am not being judged for not knowing things and there's a great sense of belonging. I do wished that it was more advertised to let other students know that the library is always an option to receive help, sometimes which it may not always be full on academic but even self confidence. Sincerely, Anonymous

To my Geisel 2 East, Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more coffee filled. From your charging stations to your cafe, you contain all my heart's desires. I am indebted to you, from your comforting couches to the crunchy snacks that Audrey's holds. No where else would I rather take a zoom meeting; no where else would I rather have a study session with friends. Oh Geisel 2 East, you complete me. Thus, with a finished essay I part. Love, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, Thank you so much for being a part of my life. Ever since I stepped in, I could not step out. I appreciate you for creating such a safe space to just focus on myself. When it was hard to focus in other places in my life, the library was always there. Although I did not see your true value until this year, I am glad you exist. Throughout the years I've seen you evolve, and am proud of you for that. You are appreciated, Geisel Library. Don't forget that. XoXo, Anonymous

I love the loose paper at the library. I take a lot of scratch paper when I'm doing math, and the one-sided paper is really convenient and environmentally friendly. I just grab a bunch every time I use up all of mine, and it makes math so much more relaxing knowing I have plenty of space to keep trying to solve the problem. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love having a place to go between classes. Bonus points for it having plenty of seating and quiet areas. More amenities (e.g. standing desks) in WongAvery Library would be nice. Sincerely, Anonymous

It has been one of the best places for me to spend time with my books. Thanks for being such an amazing space. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the chairs and little table that’s near the Seuss Room in front of the opening walkway of the library, most comfortable chairs and perfect fitting table. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love how every time I come to Geisel, I always end up seeing at least someone I know and I love that it is a community. I love how you provide a safe space to everyone and how you provide supplies to us. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Library, thank you for existing. You give me peace and a comfortable place to study in the midst of craziness of exams. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love the new space at the entrance of the library, it would be nice to add more decorative seating. In addition, the charger ports on level 5 & 6 sometimes do not work so it’ll be nice if those get fixed. Sincerely, Anonymous

The library provides many spaces for students to focus and study. Although there has been a lot of changes, none of them have been bad decisions and the library continues to remain a safe space to study! Sincerely, Anonymous

I love everything about the library, it's a place for everyone and anyone. If I could change one thing about your lovely library, I wish it was bigger, I wish there was more of you! Because of so many students, it's hard for me to find a space at times just to hang out with you. Sincerely, Anonymous

We’re still in the honeymoon phase my dear, for not even a year has passed by since I first laid my eyes upon you. There’s something about your physic that lured me into your warm embrace as you let me in. I don’t know how you do it, taking care of all these poor souls, some happy, others dead inside. I guess that’s what drew me to you. I hope you know you’re perfect the way you are and that you will always hold a special place in my heart. Sincerely, Anonymous

I love all of the resources you provide me and all of the nice areas to study. Sincerely, Anonymous

To Geisel, You offer me some of my most productive and unproductive moments in my life. When I come alone, I zone out by the computers in my music and work, and I become a work-a-holic. When I come with friends or come to meet with them, we spend great time having thoughtful conversations that are, at times, life-changing. In fact, the time that I spent with my crush by the long tables in 2E was one of the weirdest but one of the best times I've spent with her, and I thank your climate-controlled rooms and comfortable furniture for providing comfort to me and everyone I care about! Love Anonymous

Dear UC San Diego Libraries, Happy heart health month in February 2023 I love: the international newspapers (e.g. El Pais), the dot to dot activity pages for destressing, and UCSD alumni access to the libraries. Respectfully, Anonymous UCSD Alumni Association Life Member

Dear the library, Thank you for all the times you let me turn in things weeks past their due date. ♥ Love Anonymous

I love the resources the library offers and how easy it is to access texts online especially since my courses are reading heavy this quarter ♥ Sincerely, Anonymous

I hope you guys can create an extra floor on top of Geisel. So I can take it with my boyfriend. Sincerely, Anonymous

Geisel, I want to thank you for this beautiful space that brings folks together for something great! I had so much fond memories and moments of leisure here. I am very grateful for you ♥ Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, Thanks for always being there for me even though I tend to ignore you a lot. I love the way I can depend on you during my highest highs (studying with friends) and my lowest lows (checking Canvas for my midterm grades). I hope that you continue being great and I wish you all the best. From, Anonymous

I love the library because I never get any work done but I meet new people here everyday. I love that there's different floors of varying noise levels. I love the iced lavender oat milk lattes at Audrey's. I love that it smells like eggs, sweat and desperation to cram. Sincerely, Anonymous

Geisel, Where do I even begin? You're architectural design can catch anyone's eye. Its unfortunate that's all you provide. Never having enough room on the 1st-2nd floor for groups defeats the purpose of why I come to you. I love the stress that you radiate. And the stench of feces mixed w/ caffeine. Do. Better. Still love you and will be here everyday. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear my lover Geisel, You are beauty, you are grace. I love coming to you with my other fellow Geisel lovers. You have made me a better person, allowing me to learn about myself in a new light. My grades appreciate you and my parents are grateful for you help. I love you so much! With love, Anonymous :)

Dear Geisel, Not only do I enjoy working here but I also enjoy the space you provided me to study with my friends. I love the overnight studying as I've used it when it's finals week. Thank you for everything. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear library, Thanks for becoming a second home to me. Couldn't think of a better prison. With love, Anonymous

I love Geisel because it has been my home for the past 3 years. You motivate me to do better and give me a resting and safe place between classes. Although the second floor bathrooms always smell, I still ignore your flaws and use the stall desperately. You showed me what it's like to be a UCSD student. I love you dearly. Love Anonymous ♥

Dear Library, I love you so much thank you for being open 24/7 365. If not for you I would not have a study space love you so much ttyl xoxo love, Anonymous

I like the computers. I don't like the noise in 2nd floor but I wish there was more monitors in other floors. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear G, thank you! for the late nights. Old reliable! I write this letter at 12AM, just yesterday I left at 6AM. Actually, earlier this day. You always open to me with open arms. From nights of crying from studying to nights of uncontrollable laughing. You never let me down. I ♥ u! - Anonymous ♥

Dear Geisel, You are a breath of fresh air. You were there for the countless nights I spent in your warm wings. You've always been a place I could count on to better myself: being productive, getting a small workout in on the treadmill, or by being alone with my thoughts. There has never been a place that has made me feel comfortable in making mistakes. Through the TLC, I have seen my grades progress with the help of tutors and learning that failing is okay. You offer so any beautiful spaces to enjoy your beauty: on the 2nd floor looking through the windows, on top of the library, or on the 8th floor overlooking snake path. You've seen me at my lowest and I've been with you at your highest (floor). We are meant to be Geisel. Cheers to two more years together, te amo ♥ Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, Every time I have been disappointed in a relationship, you have been there. I always come back to you, but somehow you are not open 24 hours? Nevertheless, I am drawn to you. There is no other library I would rather spend my time with. I know you have trouble expressing how you feel with your words. However, your actions say otherwise. For, you have an entire cafe with my name on it <3<3. I think we should just get married so I can take your last name "Audrey Geisel". ~XOXO Anonymous

I spend a good amount of time in 2E. I love the collaborative vibes, and often find myself spending many hours in a row working here. The problem is that I get weary. I think vending machines with a variety of healthy and tasty options would be AMAZING! Audrey's is great, but the vending machine snacks would do wonders for the late night study sessions. ♥ Anonymous

Thank you for always being there for me when I need a place to study. I would fail all my midterms and finals if you didn't exist. Please open your top floors after 10pm as well. Sincerely, Anonymous

I have been visiting WongAvery Library for a couple of days, and it is truly a very peaceful place to study. There are iMacs, Stationery. Just wish there was an Audrey's there. Sincerely, Anonymous

I want to say the front desk has been extremely helpful because they helped me find the pickup location, how book online rooms, and how to scan the reserve books! I also need enjoyed meeting 4 floors so far. I would only have to critique the smell because it stinks! Sincerely, Anonymous

Break Up Letters

I think one of the biggest things that should be improved is the cleaning of the library. I've noticed that some areas of the library especially floor 2 East and floor 1 tend to smell pretty strongly of body odor or other funk no matter how many people are there. And the carpets on 1 and 2 are regularly messy and unclean. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, Although you are big and pretty and renovated, please please please clean the bathrooms more often. Scarce has there been a time when the restrooms have not been a mess with trash cans filled to the brim and stalls are missing toilet paper. I understand staff is doing all they can but find a solution that doesn't over work them and takes the fear of using the bathroom away so I no longer debate between a failing kidney or a dirty, sticky, and borderline unusable toilet. With uttermost respect, A third year Triton :)

I'm writing a break up letter to the library. As, I walk into the library it smells like stench. It is such an unpleasant smell which discourages me from even coming from the library. I think to better Geisel there should be classical music being played as students walk in to encourage a happy and peaceful environment. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, I’ve been meaning to bring this up at some point with you, and I feel like now is the time.

Dear Geisel Library, I mostly go to the West side of the library which I enjoy because it is more quiet there. However a lot of the outlets are loose or don't work :( Sincerely, Anonymous

Could you fix the door lock in east Geisel 1st floor? It's been broken for a year. Sincerely, Anonymous

Needs better ventilation. But at the end of the day there is a distinct bathroom stench that permeates everything. Sincerely, Anonymous

One thing I don't like about the library is the lack of signal in the first floor, and sometimes the second floor (but especially the first). It gets annoying trying to meet up with someone, and I can't text them because there's no signal. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, It’s not me, it’s you. I don't know where to start. At first, I really really loved you, but as time went on, I started losing feelings. I wish I could say our friends had nothing to do with it, but after they introduced me to Ms. Sally T. WongAvery, I just couldn't help but compare you two. She’s just so full of life and she actually knows a thing or two about hygiene. She’s classy and she takes care of herself, I wish I could say the same about you, but after spending time in the dungeon, let’s be honest here. Anyways, see you never! XOXO, Anonymous

Date for 1 year. No talking for 2 months. I see you in 1W and it’s silent. I walk by in silence and the air is thick. I hate Geisel now. Sincerely, Anonymous

Your upper floors are always too cold. I can't go there at night. It's quiet and lonely. I stare at the reflection of my face on the glass. The PA system tells me to leave. I wonder what it would be like to be stranded. I've never felt more alone. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, We're not as close as we used to be. It's like I don't know you anymore. I watch how you hang out with all of these other people, but not with me. My heart is shattered, into thousands, no, millions of pieces. Did I mean so little to you, that you could not even be bothered to show me some basic decency and respect? I hope you're happy with yourself. Don't call me, text me, or look for me, I won't reply. Worst regards, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, You're selfish. You ignored me for so long, when I needed you the most. You put so much time into yourself and I feel like the changes weren't even worth it. Its superficial at most. I don't feel the same connection that I felt before. It's been 4 years, and I'm out. - Anonymous PS, your east end smells like farts.

As much as I love all of your offerings and everything you do for me Geisel, the smell when you walk into the library is very hard to get past. Basically, the scent when you walk into the library and around the second floor is just off-putting. A quick solution to this would be having more airflow in the library with small fans everywhere. Thank you! Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, I actually do enjoy coming here, for the views, for the quietness, and for having an actual desk to work on. Still, I think there could be some improvements, which is why I have chosen to write a "break-up letter"! Firstly, I think that outlets and such should be checked on more. Sadly, there have been many times in which I finally found the perfect spot to watch my zoom class, and then oh no! The outlet at that spot is broken :( Not sure why, but this happened to me at every single table I found on the same floor a couple times, even if I moved places. Another thing I would love if there were more of are backwards facing cubbies, or generally more cubbies. I love the 8th floor surrounding pod-like ones, because I feel like I can actually relax and not worry about someone making unexpected noises or something behind me and taking me out of my focus, so more of those pods would be great. I also would rather be looking toward the people instead of leaving my back to them, it just makes me focus more for some reason. Lastly, I think we need more comfortable chairs! Maybe some more movement-based ones that can tilt, or some more cushiony ones! That would be very nice. Sincerely, Anonymous

Hello, both east and west smell horrible, please fix that. Also please open for longer on the weekends. Also there's like literally so many people using the computer stations EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE LAPTOPS. LIKE I DON'T EVEN HAVE A LAPTOP MAN. I NEED THE COMPUTERS. AND THE GRAB AND GO LOANERS ARE HORRIBLE. I CAN'T DO ANY OF MY CS HOMEWORK BECAUSE I CAN'T INSTALL MY NEEDED PROGRAMS AND THE BATTERY ON THEM LITERALLY LAST FOR LIKE A FEW HOURS. PLEASE HELP 😭 Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel/WongAvery, Your quiet levels invite me to study and read, grind out my homework and studying. But sometimes, your heavy odors can be too strong. And you are often too crowded to find a spot in, but you do come in clutch when I need some space from the noisy apartment and when everywhere else is closed. Your wifi sucks, especially when using my personal laptop. I don't understand why, but it never works out for me. I need to be able to do zoom sometimes on campus but your sucky wifi makes it unstable and the wifi often cuts out. However, you are the there when I most need it, a place to cram info in before exams or sit when it is too cold outside. I do appreciate you even in your crowded hours. Love, Anonymous PS- WongAvery > Geisel

I wish the library had more study-room style areas for collaborative studying. There are very few study rooms and they are always full and it is hard to find a quiet spot to study with friends. Also the first and second floors smell bad all of the time and they are very hot. Sincerely, Anonymous

Hello Geisel, I hate you so much. Not because you did anything. It's just that your lights are so bright they make my head hurt. And because everyone there is either super loud I can't get anything done, or they're so quiet I feel bad for having keychains. And I think you're kinda ugly. I've started studying at the resource centers. It's not you, it's me. Regretfully, Anonymous

Geisel, We have many fond memories together but it’s getting harder and harder everyday to stay here with you. There’s not enough space for me and you in the same room. It hurts my heart to say this but I have to let you go you smell really bad sometimes and I can't stand it. You're too warm and there isn't enough air for me to breathe. I love you, Anonymous

I love the new look and services but y'all don't have Biorender which is so sad :( I've had to explain what the service is to multiple librarians and nobody had even heard of it which was a little frustrating, since the library at Scripps Research offers Biorender to all their students and faculty/employees. Sincerely, Anonymous

Roses are red / Violets are bad / I don't like studying / Library make me sad. Sincerely, Anonymous

I really wish the library hours were later on Fridays! I find it frustrating that the library closes at 6:00pm on 2/17 and 2/18 in addition to being closed 2/19 for the holiday. I have projects due and, while most other places are closed, want to be able to rely on the library as a safe, clean, quiet spot to study. Sincerely, Anonymous

It smells really funky on the second floor. Sincerely, Anonymous

I wish the areas were cleaner. Sincerely, Anonymous

The bathrooms are dirty. The study room with white board desks is dirty. The floor is dirty. Sincerely, Anonymous

Sometimes you smell like eggs, especially by Audrey's. It's nasty. Please get that checked out. Also your wifi randomly stops working which completely defeats the purpose of coming here to do schoolwork. The ventilation is also an issue because sometimes it's humid and musty in here. It becomes a whole new climate in the building. With hate, Anonymous

My 1st year of college I loved you. I was able to meet my closest friends through you. You were my safe space. I came here to talk to my friends, study, and really take in the moment. Now I'm a 4th year, and I try my best to avoid you and when I enter, I am forced with hard work and torture. I loved you but now I must go. Thank you but we weren't meant to be. Unless... Sike you wish. Sincerely, Anonymous

I'm kinda gonna miss you when we graduate :( Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, Oh my god! You are so narcissistic. Just because you are bigger than WongAvery library, doesn't make you better. And you are such the jealous type, always checking my location to see if I'm at WongAvery. Well guess what, I always was. Kick rocks loser! - Anonymous

Dear Geisel, It's time we talk about something serious... we need to talk about us and where we're going with this relationship. I just feel like I really know you. There's just too many levels to you and I feel like I have to climb all these flights of stairs just to get a glimpse of you. I'm also so sorry to say that I just don't have the energy to try and get through all of this business. P.S you stink! With Love, Anonymous

Sorry it's just not gonna work. You're always busy, never got time for me. All this exterior architecture, AND NO PLACE TO SIT?!?!... Ya bye! Sincerely, Anonymous

You think you're all that huh? Just because you put so much thought into exterior. But you never care about the students that you are supposed to support. SURFACE LEVEL AF! You wanna talk about design? Let's talk about these janky tables and chairs. Let's talk about the disgusting smell always around Audrey's. DO BETTER!! Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, It's not me, it's you. Whenever I needed you the most, you vanished (Friday and Saturdays after 6pm). Whenever I'm here, you're always too busy for me and ignore my love and attention, Sadge :(. You never have space for me, but for everyone else you open up for them. I tried to ask your friend Audrey why you treat me like this, but they ignore me as well (constantly unavailable after 5pm). Whenever I visit you, I can feel the heat and warmth that you share with everyone but me, and when I try to reach you through other levels you're cold and silent. There is no hope between us. I'll remember what little memories we shared, but I'll never forgive how you were the imposter among us. Sincerely, Anonymous

DEAR LIB, NEED MORE ROOMS - Anonymous

Dear library, Every time I stay closer to you, I feel tired, sad, sleepy :((((( But if I don't go to you, I become stupid, ignorant, lazy :((((( Sincerely, Anonymous

I love you and stuff but you kinda stink and I need to see the sun more. Have a good life ♥ Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear library, I'm sorry to say but it's OVER. You take in anyone whenever you feel like at ALL TIMES of the day. goodbye!! Love, Anonymous

Hi, Sorry because of how busy you are, I think we have to break up. The commuter lounge is less busy and also has food nearby. I can get snacks whenever I want and feel more supported by the environment. I hope you understand. Lots of love, Anonymous P.S. They are free 24/7 unlike you.

Dear Geisel, We need more tables and space, and you also stink sometimes so maybe you should fix that. Please invest in personal hygiene. xoxo, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, Why oh why must you close on Fridays and Saturdays? As a failing undergrad I personally take offense on this horrible decision. Kicking me out at 6pm is not cool dude and it makes it hard to feel towards me. I don't feel appreciated anymore :(. I'll miss you, but we have to go our separate ways. I deserve someone who supports my workaholic tendencies. Hate, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, Something about your distinctive scent... a love and hate relationship. I don't know why, but I keep coming back. Thank you for all the late nights... However with graduation coming... I think it's best to go our separate ways... Forever in my ♥, Anonymous

Dear Geisel, This isn't going to work out. I keep giving you chances, but I always catch you "busy" with other people. You haven't even made time for me in a long time. All your other side pieces are smelly and can't even follow the silent floor rules. I can't believe you'd choose them over me. Don't call again. - Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear library, We have a toxic relationship. Sometimes I can do work here, but other times I can never focus. We negatively feed off of each other and its wrong. We need to break up for the betterment of both of us. You can't keep treating me like this. I give you so much love and attention but you just can't seem to focus on me. Maybe we will run into each other. Let me know if you decide to change or I'll let you know if I can get over it and refocus. Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Geisel Library, I know that we see each other every day when I come to visit. But I cannot do this anymore. Letting our relationship go on like this would be unfair for the both of us. I hate to admit it, but I've found your replacement. There is a better place for me to study... I don't think I could ever come back here to study. You deserve so much better, I wish you the best. Maybe we'll be meant for each other in another life! Love you forever, Anonymous

I love you, but sometimes your lack of WORKING outlet tables drives me crazy. Switch them with maybe tables that also support wireless charging? And for the love of god, clean your bottom floor chairs :/ Sincerely, Anonymous
